Peter Parker doesn"t just want to be a superhero, he wants to spend a normal vacation in Europe with his college friends. So he simply suppresses Nick Fury"s calls. But Fury reached the young man in other ways and persuaded him to go on a mission despite an excursion. Powerful monsters from a parallel world endanger people. Spider-Man is supposed to fight against her alongside the surprisingly surfaced superhero Mysterio.
Second part of the "Spider-Man" reboot with Tom Holland as the title hero, the content of which is directly linked to "Avengers: Endgame" and integrates a main motif from "Spider-Man: A New Universe" into its story. Director Jon Watts spices up the second solo appearance with lots of young humor and has a few new characters ready, like Mysterio played by Jake Gyllenhaal, who turns out to be a key figure for this adventurous vacation trip through Europe.
