Compilation of the three "Tantra" albums along with various 12", 7", Spanish language and remix versions of some of the songs featured. The whole set is housed inside a glossy cardboard outer slipcase.
Disc 1 includes the first two albums in their entirety and ends with the Patrick Cowley remix of "Hills Of Katmandu". This is not the "unfinished version" that has been widely available for many years via sources such as the Tantra (2) - The Hills Of Katmandu (The Patrick Cowley Megamix) or Tantra (2) / Various - Hills Of Kat Mandu (Remix) / Hot Plate #1 / Hot Plate #2 - that version is merely a re-edit that Patrick Cowley had initially prepared, ready for the later addition of his synthesiser overdubs. The version on this CD features his overdubs. Note that the liner notes state that the Patrick Cowley version was supplied by Ron "Nick" Nicholson, one-time DJ at The Anvil, Manhattan NY. The liner notes also thank one Omi Palone "for his help with the 12" version of "Wishbone"".
Disc 2 features the final Tantra album which features their other massive cult favourite ‘A Place Called Tarot’ as well as the "Macumba" suite. The rest of the disc is completed with various 7” and 12” mixes including the "rare" Spanish language versions of "Hills Of Katmandu" (listed as "Las Colinas De Katmandu") and "Wishbone" (listed as "Camino El Destino") as well as the Disconet remixes of "Get Happy" and "Top Shot" - note that both of these mixes were previously released on a 12" single on the "Importe/12" label (both Disconet and Importe/12 being subsidiaries of Sugarscoop Records). These two mixes are called "The Double Remix" on this issue, presumably mirroring the title of the 12" single on which they featured, which was itself called Tantra (2) - The Double Remix. On the sleeve sticker however, they are referred to as "Disconet" remixes.
