A double bill of films charting the rise, fall and rise again of Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone). In "Rocky", failed boxer Rocky finds love with the shy Adrian (Talia Shire) whilst simultaneously offered the chance to fight the current champion, Apollo Creed. "Rocky II" sees Rocky, now married to Adrian, struggling financially until offered the opportunity of a rematch against Apollo. However, his training is affected when Adrian, now pregnant, falls into a coma.
