Synopsis: In those distant times, the wild lands of northern Europe were populated by heroes and monsters, and daring men, cut out for struggle and conquest, could still forge exceptional destinies for themselves. The most glorious of these adventurers was the Viking Beowulf, who appeared one fine day to save the old king Hrothgar and his subjects from the assaults of a ferocious creature.
